3/27/17 again, rush our no WiFi.
Expect to do 1 set of routines for the rest of your life with the limited set of equipment. Barely better than just walking outside for free.
Now into June and the Wifi is still not functional
I workout seriously everyday and enjoyed retro except the staff that ruined it. I moved over 8 months ago and have repeatedly called to cancel my membership and repeatedly nothing was done. The manager alfero is extremely rude and obviously doesn't care about the customers that make retro fitness what it is. Never once did I even get a reply after emailing him the proper documentation. Now over 8 months that 160$ of incurred expenses on my end that I can't get any assistance on recovering or cancel long. If you're serious about working out and need a environment that reflects that, this retro fitness Is not for you.
Great all around gym this gym has given me power and muscles. Equipment is always clean. Staff are always friendly. Whoever the owner is of this gym is excellent at what he does and provides for us gym rats. This gym is the gym to be at. Energy is excellent vibe is great. Machines are great. People are great. (Also this gym also has a movie theater) man if you meed to lose weight or gain muscle make sure you stop by RETRO IN BAY SHORE If you need a gym RETRO FITNESS IS THE PLACE TO BE AT. THANK YOU RETRO STAFF!!!
They are a scam. I spoke with their representative Britney and told her that my mother had opted out of continuing with the gym since February, she said that they do not have any record of that. My response was ok. I would like to cancel the membership now (July 16, 2017). She said that I would still be charged for the following month (August 2017). I was irate about this. But said that it must be their policy. Today September 11, 2017 I am recognizing that I was still charged by the gym. I called and Britney answers the phone. I tried to be as calm as possible with this lady. I explained to her what occurred before. She responds by saying that she has no records of me canceling the account from before and she proceeds to ask whether or not I would like to cancel the account now. I told her that is exactly what you asked me the last time and I responded in the affirmative. The lady hung up the phone in my ears.

For the price point, this place cannot get any better. I love the ergonomics of the machines... These are not standard single plane movement machines, they incorporate different angles and movements.
